Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Kicks Off Holiday Season In Wayne
Wayne will soon hold its traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony, which will include music and Santa's arrival with Mrs. Claus.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne will ring in the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the municipal building.
The event begins with holiday music by Bach to Rock at 6:30 p.m, then Mayor Chris Vergano will welcome attendees at 7 p.m. After local dignitaries are announced, the tree will be lit and the "Patriot 5" woodwind quintet from Wayne Valley High School will perform.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 7:15 p.m. for photos, and the event wraps up at 8.

Event sponsors include St. Joseph's Health, Outback of Wayne, Chick-fil-A, and Mathnasium.
Families can also make reservations to see Santa at Willowbrook Mall through Christmas Eve.
