Babies"R"Us Returning To Wayne In Partnership With Kohl's
The Babies"R"Us shops inside Kohl's "will feature a curated assortment from trusted brands parents love," the company said.

WAYNE, NJ — Babies“R”Us, which was once headquartered in Wayne Township, is making a bit of a comeback.
Kohl's recently announced that they will begin selling a collection of items from the baby goods store in a number of locations, including in Wayne, Woodland Park, and Clifton.
These shops will be placed next to Kohl's existing baby and kids' sections to make a more comprehensive in-store shopping experience, according to a company announcement.

Each Babies"R"Us assortment will range from 750 to 2,500 feet of space with "a curated assortment from trusted brands parents love" including baby gear, furniture, activities, accessories, and more, Kohl's said.
Kohl's will also expand their online offerings to include Babies“R”Us items.

The first Babies"R"Us shops inside the department stores will open this August, with plans to roll them out in 200 locations this fall, Kohl's announced.
Babies"R"Us will set up at these three Kohl's stores, which are also partner locations with makeup retailer Sephora:
- Wayne Kohl's, 1800 Route 23 North, 07470
- Clifton Kohl's, 14 Main Avenue, 07014
- Woodland Park Kohl's, 1710 U.S. Highway 46, 07424
Other New Jersey locations that will get a baby brand boost include Ramsey, Secaucus, Jersey City, Bergen Town Center, and Hillsborough.
Babies"R"Us began closing stores in 2018 after its parent company at the time, Toys"R"Us, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. WHP Global acquired both brands in 2021.
Last July, Babies"R"Us re-emerged with a new flagship location at the American Dream mall in Bergen County, where Toys"R"Us also opened a flagship store.
Much like this new venture with Babies"R"Us at Kohl's, Toys"R"Us has also opened hundreds of locations within Macy's stores, including the Wayne store at Willowbrook Mall.
The former Babies"R"Us corporate headquarters at 1 Geoffrey Way is currently owned by Point View Wayne Properties, which paid $19 million for the property in a bankruptcy sale.
Toys"R"Us was also once headquartered in Wayne, before moving to Parsippany.
