WAYNE, NJ — After a two-week transition period, the Burlington store at Wayne Hills will re-open — just across the parking lot.

Burlington closed its store at 24 Wayne Hills Mall (next to the ShopRite) on Oct. 25, ahead of the new location's grand opening. That will be on Nov. 8 at 7 Wayne Hills Mall — which was a Toys "R" Us store up until 2018.

The New Jersey-based company, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, is the one of the largest off-price retailers in the country along with TJX and Ross.

"Residents can look forward to everyday low prices on a wide selection of brand-name merchandise for the entire family and home," a company spokesperson said.

Burlington did not disclose the difference in square footage between the two stores, though the move is a significant downsize. A report said that the former Toys "R" Us building is 38,000 square feet, while the now-shuttered Burlington next to ShopRite is 105,000 square feet.
