'Chicago,' 'Mamma Mia!' And More Coming To The Stage In Wayne
The theater departments at Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills are preparing two well-known shows, plus see what's going on at other schools:
WAYNE, NJ — The stage is set for a variety of well-known musicals this spring around Wayne Public Schools, with students preparing for performances that begin this coming weekend.
Here's a rundown of upcoming theater productions around the district, if you want to grab a seat:
George Washington Middle School and Anthony Wayne Middle School are both performing on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15. "Aladdin, Jr." will be on stage at George Washington, while Anthony Wayne is taking on "The Drowsy Chaperone, Jr."

And, John F. Kennedy Elementary is getting ready to put on "Frozen, Jr." on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22.
Then, the Jazz Age awaits as Wayne Hills' production of "Chicago" will be the weekend of March 27, 28, and 29. And, travel to Greece for a spectacular wedding during Wayne Valley's performance of "Mamma Mia!" on April 4, 5, and 6.
