PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A crash investigation has snarled traffic on U.S. Route 46 Monday morning, east of the Garden State Parkway.

The crash site is near the intersection of U.S. 46 and Paulson Avenue/Hazel Street in Clifton, according to 511nj.org.

As of 8:30 a.m., all westbound lanes are currently closed and detoured, and one lane is closed eastbound while police investigate. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour, said the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
