Crash, Fuel Spill Snarl Route 80 Traffic In North Jersey Monday

WAYNE, NJ — A crash and fuel spill have blocked traffic on part of Route 80 westbound on Monday afternoon in North Jersey, officials said.
Three lanes are still closed west of the exit for State Route 23 and U.S. 46 (Exit 53) near Wayne Township, as of the latest update. Traffic is backed up to the Paramus area during the evening rush hour, according to 511nj.org.

Officials did not immediately say if there were injuries, or how many vehicles were involved in the collision. The incident was first reported at 2:07 p.m.
