WAYNE, NJ — As there is some rain in the forecast this weekend, families in Wayne may be wondering if skies will clear in time for outdoor photos and egg hunts on Easter Sunday.
National Weather Service forecasters say to expect clouds and sun on a windy Friday with highs around 54. Winds are predicted to be between 11 and 16 miles per hour. Gusts of wind could get up to 28 mph.
There will be a chance of light rain on Saturday afternoon and in the evening, with temperatures approaching 60 in Wayne, forecasters added.

“Some spots may end up dry, with less than a quarter-inch of rain even where showers or a briefly steadier period of rain does focus in around midday through Saturday afternoon,” the National Weather Service said in a forecast discussion.
Sunday looks to be dry and sunny, though, with a high near 60 — good weather for traveling, playing in the backyard, or taking a walk. Garden State residents are encouraged to enjoy the dry spring-like weather while they can, as stormy conditions are likely to come back on Monday.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Saturday: A 20 percent chance of rain after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. West wind 8 to 10 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.
