First Concert Of Wayne Summer Series Moved Indoors Due To Forecast

As Wayne kicks off their Summer Concert Series on Wednesday, a chance of thunderstorms will move the musical performance indoors.

WAYNE, NJ — With thunderstorms possible on Wednesday evening, Wayne Township officials decided to move the first Summer Concert Series performance of the season indoors.

The Larry Stevens Band, playing vintage pop rock, will now play at the Wayne Valley High School auditorium, officials said. The show still begins at 7 p.m.

Attendees are asked to bring dry goods for the Wayne Interfaith Network food pantry and help local families in need. Chick-fil-A will also be selling food at the door.
