Flooding Closes Valley Road Intersection In Wayne Thursday: PD
Valley Road is closed near the township municipal complex, police said.

WAYNE, NJ — Police alerted drivers of a road closure on Thursday morning near the township municipal complex, as a series of storms are slated to move through Wayne Township and North Jersey throughout the day.
Valley Road is closed at Nellis Road due to flooding, Wayne Police announced just after 10 a.m. There is no current estimated time for reopening.
Drivers can check all current road closures on the township website; as of 11 a.m., this appears to be the only flood-related closure right now.

Several dozen customers are without power, but Jersey City Power and Light and PSE&G are reporting no major incidents, also as of 11 a.m.
There is a slight chance that more showers and storms could form before 2 p.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
