Goldfish Swim School Opening Wayne Location In January

WAYNE, NJ — A swim school focusing on water safety instruction for infants, children, and families is planning to open a new location in Wayne by late January.

Goldfish Swim School will be located at 1595 NJ-23, Suite 1 in the Brentwood Plaza Shopping Center.

Instructors will offer year-round swimming lessons to children aged 4 months to 12 years. Goldfish Swim School will also host family swims in its heated, 90-degree pools and offer party packages.

The completed facility will feature:

• A viewing gallery for families to watch lessons
• Individual changing rooms
• A blow dry station
• A snack bar

Goldfish Swim School Wayne team will also offer free water safety presentations to any interested school, organization or community group, the company said.

In a news release, the school noted that drowning is the top cause of accidental death for kids younger than 4. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children take regular, high-quality swim lessons starting at age 1, the release added.

Chris and Jenny McCuiston, a married couple, founded Goldfish Swim School in Birmingham, Michigan in 2006.
