Help Send Wayne Cheer Team To Nationals In Florida
The Sassy Cats, a competition cheer team at the Boys & Girls Club in Wayne, earned a bid to a national championship at Walt Disney World.

WAYNE, NJ – A fundraiser effort is underway to help send a team of cheerleaders to a national competition next month in Florida.
The Sassy Cats, a competition cheer team at the Boys & Girls Club in Wayne for children ages 8 and under, earned a national title on Feb. 23 at the Reach the Beach contest in Maryland and were offered a bid to the Quest National Championship in Walt Disney World.
“These 13 little girls have worked so hard all year, putting in months of blood, sweat and tears and are the epitome of what a team should be. They all deserve to be able to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity,” wrote campaign organizer Scott Kindzierski.
