CLIFTON, NJ — Fueled by a growing social media fandom, a popular hamburger spot has opened its second storefront in Passaic County within eight months.

Slap Burger is now serving hungry customers in Clifton, as its first foray into the North Jersey food scene created quite a buzz online. Their original Paterson location opened at the end of December, and the new venue (1348 Clifton Ave.) debuted on July 19. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

The featured smash burgers are made with halal beef, onions, a blend of seasonings, and their special "Slap Sauce." The menu also includes hot chicken, macaroni and cheese, loaded fries, flavored lemonade, and several types of pudding for dessert.
