Route 202 Reopens After Power Outage, Repairs In Wayne Monday

Crews were on scene to address a power outage Monday afternoon, police said.

More than 2,600 JCP&L customers were out of power as of 2 p.m. Monday, and crews were working along Black Oak Ridge Road in Wayne to restore service.

WAYNE, NJ — Power has been restored in Wayne Township after an outage Monday that affected more than 2,600 JCP&L customers.

Black Oak Ridge Road was closed for about two hours between Hubbarton Road and the Route 23 service road as the power company worked to restore service, and had reopened by 3:30 p.m.

An earlier pair of water main breaks was also affecting traffic near Packanack Lake.
