Jersey Shore-Born Restaurant Chain Comes To Wayne: Offers Pizza, Poke, And Plenty More
This is the family-owned chain's fourteenth location across three states.

WAYNE, NJ — Doors are officially open at Wayne’s Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, located at the Wayne Town Center, 71 Route 23.
This is the establishment’s fourteenth location across three states, and its second location in Passaic County, following Clifton. Other NJ locations include Sea Bright, Freehold, Bridgewater, Edison, Princeton, Morris Plains, Mount Laurel, Cherry Hill, Edgewater, and Sea Girt.
Opening its doors this past Wednesday, Wayne’s location took over what was formerly a TGI-Fridays, a franchise that filed for bankruptcy in November 2024.

The newest location offers a wide variety of food from wood-fired pizza to sushi, from ribs to pasta; there is no shortage of options.
Additionally, the restaurant has a full bar featuring beer, wine, and plenty of classic and original cocktails.

The nearly 6,300 square foot space seats around 250 people, with outdoor seating options and televisions everywhere.
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap was first opened in Sea Bright back in 2015 by husband and wife Tommy and Yvette Bonfiglio. Since then, the franchise has become a wildly successful restaurant chain, earning awards and accolades.
"I grew up learning many old school values which have guided me my entire life...values like 'always work hard', 'never cut corners', 'always do your best', and 'keep your word',” Tommy Bonfiglio said in a statement. “Today these values help guide our family-owned business...and I passionately believe in passing along these values to my children and grandchildren."
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap in Wayne is open Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
