TOTOWA, NJ — "Experience ramen like it's meant to be" at an acclaimed Japanese eatery, which teamed up with a regional food service company to bring their savory noodle dishes to North Jersey.

JINYA's ramen menu includes a wide variety of toppings, with "thick, rich broth in perfect balance with flavorful noodles." The franchise has locations in 19 other states, and also offers small plates, salads, mini tacos, rice bowls, curries, and desserts.

The newest restaurant is located at 465 U.S. 46 in Totowa, with their opening festivities beginning at 10:45 a.m. on Sept. 10 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. DJ Nicco DiRenzi will be playing music for the dinner crowd, as well.

The franchise prides itself on authentic dishes, with broth that has been simmered for more than 20 hours in-house and flavorful toppings including pork belly, chicken, shrimp wontons, and tofu.

One unique feature at JINYA is the High Ball Machine, "which delivers super-chilled whisky mixed with a perfectly calibrated ratio of high-carbonation soda water."

"The Japanese have always valued precision and quality, and this Highball Machine embodies these principles by ensuring that every Highball served is exactly as it should be—light, balanced, and refreshing," the restaurant chain said in a news release.

JINYA partnered with Doherty Enterprises Inc., which operates more than 160 restaurants in New York and New Jersey, for their latest location.

"Their expertise in the northeast and our expertise in ramen will pair wonderfully as we begin to develop additional locations throughout the region," said Tomo Takahashi, the JINYA founder and CEO.

During September and October, Doherty will also donate $1 from every one of JINYA's “Flying Violette” cocktails sold to the American Cancer Society.

“We are beyond excited to open our first JINYA Ramen Bar and introduce Totowa to this incredible dining experience,” said Tim Doherty, CEO of Doherty Enterprises. “Our mission has always been to bring diverse and high-quality dining options to our communities, and JINYA perfectly aligns with that vision. We can’t wait for our guests to experience the exceptional ramen, unique tapas, and hard-to-find Japanese beers and liquors that JINYA has to offer.”
