Gun-Toting Driver Points Pistol In NJ Road Rage Incident, Cops Say
A child was involved in the encounter, charges indicate.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after pointing a gun at another driver on I-287, police said.
On Friday, just after 1 p.m., state police responded to a report that a driver in a Tesla SUV pointed a handgun at another driver near exit 55 in Wanaque, according to authorities.
Police later found the Tesla in Franklin Lakes and pulled it over in a shopping center lot on NJ-17, officials said.

The Tesla driver, Christopher Paul, 44, from Canadensis, PA, was soon arrested.
Paul is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and child endangerment.

It’s not clear at this time in exactly what capacity a child was involved in the encounter.
Paul was taken to Bergen County Jail to await court proceedings.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
