Residents are asked to take a travel safety survey that will help officials identify concerns and potential solutions to address them.

WAYNE, NJ — Whether you are a driver, pedestrian, biker, or public transit rider along Passaic County roads, you're invited to share your thoughts as officials launch a new traffic safety initiative.
Officials are putting together a Local Safety Action Plan (LSAP) to address concerns on roads in all 21 Passaic County municipalities, and ask residents to take a travel safety survey that will help identify concerns and potential solutions to address them.
Data from the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority shows there were 40 fatal or serious injury crashes involving pedestrians in Passaic County from 2017 to 2021. And, most serious crashes take place on local or county roads.
