WAYNE, NJ — Mayor Chris Vergano will deliver his annual "state of the township" address Wednesday, as Wayne Township Council gathers for their yearly reorganization meeting.

There were no municipal elections in November, so all nine members of council will return to the dais for the 7:30 p.m. meeting. The first order of business is to nominate and elect a council president; At-Large councilman Jason DeStefano was president in 2024.

Vergano, who is up for re-election this year, will then share his look back at the past year and what the future holds for Wayne.
