Live music, food, and beverages will accompany this New Year's Eve celebration.

PASSAIC, NJ — The city of Passaic will ring in the New Year with a downtown piñata drop again this year, with live music and food trucks lined up to accentuate the revelry.

The celebration begins at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and concludes at midnight, held in the parking lot in front of 663 Main Avenue (behind the school district offices and MamaSushi). It will be held rain or shine.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase, and there will be live music from Valerie Adams & The Dimension Band, Grupo Macao, Grupo Fama Tipico, and DJ Reymo.
