Preschool Placement Requests Open At Wayne's Preakness ECC
Class sizes are limited, and children must be 3 years old by Oct. 15 to start preschool. Here's how to register:
WAYNE, NJ — Parents who want to enroll their soon-to-be-preschoolers at the Preakness Early Childhood Center in Wayne may begin submitting placement requests online, which is the first step to enrolling next year.
The preschool center offers three-day and five-day programs with morning, afternoon, and all-day sessions; the full-day program is for 4-year-old students planning to enter kindergarten in the following year. Class sizes are limited, and registration and placement are on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on availability.
"We look forward to welcoming our youngest learners to the Preakness Early Childhood Center and embarking on a journey of learning and growth together," the district said.
