See When Ringwood St. Patrick's Day Parade, Festivities Take Place This Year
Here's when to get decked out for Passaic County's only St. Patrick's Day parade, and other events celebrating Irish heritage and culture.
RINGWOOD, NJ — With the month of March approaching fast, preparations are well underway for Passaic County's only St. Patrick's Day parade and all the festivities that go along with this celebration of Ireland's patron saint.
The Ringwood St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee announced that the 34th annual parade will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 with events both before and after the marchers step off.
The day begins with a traditional Irish Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church, followed by the annual Unity Breakfast in the Ringwood Community Center behind the church, at 9:45. Tickets for the breakfast are $20, with children under 5 celebrating for free.

Rain or shine, the parade begins at 1 p.m. at the corner of Fieldstone Drive and Skyline Drive. Participants are asked to arrive at noon for staging.

And afterwards, there will be a Family Celebration at the Community Center with food and drinks for purchase, and performances by the McLoughlin Step Dancers, Pipe Bands, and a DJ.

St. Patrick’s Day will soon be here, and the Ringwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is proud to announce that the 34th annual parade will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Presented for all residents of Ringwood and neighboring towns, this is Passaic County’s only St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
This year’s Parade honorees are:
Grand Marshall – Edward Brogan
Outstanding Citizen – Sam Patel (Owner, Sam’s Bar & Grill)
Parade Dedications – Chief Timothy Riegel and Carolyn Mingeram
The big day begins at 9:00 AM with our traditional Irish Mass at St. Catherine’s Church, 112 Erskine Road in Ringwood. Immediately following Mass at 9:45 AM is our annual Unity Breakfast at the Ringwood Community Center (formerly the St. Catherine’s Parish Center), directly behind the Church. Tickets for admission are $20.00 each; children under 5 celebrate for free.
Parade participants will need to arrive early for staging at 12:00 PM at the TD Bank North access road at 145 Skyline Drive. The Parade will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, and is held rain or shine, as always. A Family Celebration takes place at the Ringwood Community Center immediately following the Parade, where food & drinks are available for purchase. Entertainment will be abound and will include performances by the McLoughlin Step Dancers, Pipe Bands and a DJ.
