Road Work Closes Route 23 South Ramp In Wayne
Police said traffic is being diverted to and from the Alps Road exit, as road crews work on repaving.

WAYNE, NJ — Road work has closed the ramp Route 23 South ramp to Alps Road on Wednesday, according to Wayne Police.
A county improvement project is ongoing throughout the day, as crews pave Alps Road from Route 23 to a point 200 feet east of the juncture. The work is scheduled to be completed Wednesday.
Traffic coming from 23 South is being diverted onto Myrtle Avenue, and traffic getting onto 23 is being diverted onto New Street, police said.

Drivers are advised to expect delays. Officials ask anyone traveling through the area to pay attention to signage and temporary traffic patterns, as well as to watch for construction workers and equipment to ensure their safety.
