Road Work On Hamburg Turnpike Continues This Week In Wayne

WAYNE, NJ — Milling and paving work will be going on through Thursday in Wayne, with police saying that parts of Hamburg Turnpike may be detoured while crews are on the road.

Construction will take place during the night hours from Monday through Thursday, on Hamburg Turnpike between Colfax Road and Terhune Drive. Drivers can expect lane closures, lane shifts, and/or detours, according ro Wayne PD.

Police told drivers to remain alert to the construction equipment, watch carefully for workers, and pay attention to posted signage and temporary traffic patterns.

The work is weather-permitting, and the schedule is subject to change.
