Set Sail With 'Moana 2' At Sensory-Friendly Movie Event In Wayne

Wayne families with children of all abilities are welcome to come enjoy popcorn, drinks, and a day out at the movies.

WAYNE, NJ — Ready for adventure? The Wayne Special Parents Association is hosting a sensory-friendly showing of "Moana 2" at the Hawthorne Theater.

Wayne families with children of all abilities are welcome to come enjoy the 2024 film, which sees Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson reprise their roles from the original. Show time is 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, so people are asked to gather by 10:15 a.m. at the theater (300 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ).

The price is $17 per ticket, which also includes popcorn and a soft drink. Cash or check is acceptable on the day of the event; if paying by cash, organizers ask that you use exact change. If paying by check, make it out to the Wayne Special Parents Association.
