Star Student: Emma 'A Role Model' At Her Wayne Elementary School
"She's constantly wearing a big smile on her face, and she is quick and willing to help her peers any time it may be needed."

WAYNE, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Crystal Olson who nominated Emma of Wayne. Crystal works at the elementary school that Emma attends, and said the second-grader is "a shining star" who "expressed true fine qualities" since beginning at the school.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Emma is a shining star at Ryerson, and she is an actively involved member of our student body and school community. Emma is recognized by many of the students here, because she’s constantly wearing a big smile on her face, and she is quick and willing to help her peers any time it may be needed. When it comes to being a role model, Emma is it. She has expressed true fine qualities since she began her journey in elementary school, and we look forward to seeing Emma's inner beauty blossom as she moves forward in her education.
