Stew Leonard's Hiring Employees For Second NJ Grocery Store
The new store is expected to open this summer, and bring an estimated 500 new jobs to Clifton - including chefs, bakers, and fishmongers.

CLIFTON, NJ — Connecticut-based grocer Stew Leonard's is preparing to open its second grocery store in the Garden State, with a location in Clifton’s Styertowne Shopping Center.
The 56,000-square-foot store is expected to welcome customers this summer to browse a selection of farm-grown produce, beef from family-owned ranches, freshly-baked breads and pastries, and fresh fish as well as dairy products.
Meanwhile, Stew Leonard’s Wines and Spirits of Clifton will move from its current location at The Promenade Shops to be part of the new food and wine store, at 467 Allwood Road.

The regional chain prides itself on customer service and farm-fresh food, and was once dubbed the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" because of the costumed characters, animatronics, and scheduled entertainment that delight shoppers around its stores.
Stew Leonard's broke ground for this store in October. The grocer is also offering chances to win a $100 gift card to their new store, if you subscribe to their emails. The drawing will be held on the opening day of the new store, and there are five chances to win.
