Wayne Native, Olympian Prepares Return To Winter Games With Jamaican Bobsled Team
Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian made history in 2018 with Jamaica's first women's Olympic bobsled team. They're back to compete in Beijing.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne and the island nation of Jamaica aren't exactly in each other's backyards. But when Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian steps into her bobsled, both will have representation at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Fenlator-Victorian is readying for her third winter games, four years after making history with Jamaica's first women's Olympic bobsled team. She already made Jamaican sports history again. For the first time, the nation qualified for three Olympic bobsled events — the women's monobob, where Fenlator-Victorian will compete, and the four-person and two-person men's squads.
