Wayne PD: 'Incoherent' Women Arrested for Heroin, Needles in Willowbrook Mall Lot

Wayne Police responded to the area at 11:30 a.m. Monday on the report of two "incoherent" females sleeping on the curb.

Wayne Police arrested two women in the Willowbrook Mall parking lot Monday morning after they say the women were in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Wayne Police responded to the area at 11:30 a.m. on the report of two “incoherent” females sleeping on the curb, Captain Laurence Martin said. The women were “mumbling and appeared to be under the influence drugs or alcohol” but began to communicate clearly after “several minutes.”

One of the women, Patricia Catgallo, 28, of Whippany, unsuccessfully attempted to conceal her identity in order to “avoid arrest for several open warrants out of Jefferson and Mount Olive Township,” Captain Martin said. Catgallo also had a no bail warrant out of Hunterdon County.
