Wayne School Board Election: See Who’s On The Ballot

WAYNE, NJ — The deadline to file for candidacy for the school board election has passed, and a contested race for the Wayne Township Board of Education is underway.

Six Wayne Township candidates are vying for three spots on the board of education.

Two Wayne Township BOE incumbent candidates are seeking reelection, with four newcomers looking for a spot on the board.

The incumbent candidates are Barbara Rigoglioso and Ryan Battershill, each seeking three-year terms.

The newcomer candidates are Joseph V. Agnes, Keith M. Heyman, Joseph ‘Joe’ Troy Jr., and Mayer Gurkov, all seeking three-year terms.
