Wayne Summer Concert Series: See Who's Performing In 2024
This year's six bands span genres, from country to disco to music of the British Invasion. Check out the schedule below:
WAYNE, NJ — Live music lovers in Wayne can mark this year's Summer Concert Series on their calendars, with six musical groups set to perform outside Town Hall.
Whether you like dance music, British rock and pop bands, country songs, vintage pop rock, or disco, there will be tunes anyone can groove to. Shows are on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. outside the Wayne Municipal Complex (475 Valley Road).
There will be six concerts in total, with June 26 as the first date and Aug. 14 as the final show on the schedule this year.

The 2024 Summer Concert Series is being sponsored by Brightview Senior Living, and put on by the township Department of Parks and Recreation.
Limited seating is available, so residents are asked to bring a blanket or a lawn chair. Also, the town is collecting donations for the Wayne Interfaith Network's food pantry, to help local families in need. Concertgoers are asked to bring a dry goods donation to the show.

Here is the schedule and band descriptions, provided by the Wayne Department of Parks and Recreation:
- June 26 – Larry Stevens Band (Vintage pop rock)
- July 10 – Gunsmoke (Country)
- July 24 – Carnaby Street (Featuring the music of the British Invasion)
- July 31 – Jersey Sound (Hits from the '60s, '70s, and '80s)
- Aug. 7 – Steppin’ Out ("The Central Coast’s Finest Dance Band")
- Aug. 14 – DiscoTeks (Tribute to the '70s)
