The Wayne Valley High School Competition Cheer Team came out on top this past weekend during a national competition.
WAYNE, NJ - The Wayne Valley High School Competition Cheer Team came out on top this past weekend during a national competition.
During the two-day "Reach the Beach" competition in Maryland, the team won their division, as well as captured the grand champion title for having the highest points in the overall advanced school division.
The team's total score was 97.5250, making the Tribe the highest scoring team of the competition.

This coming Saturday, the team heads to another competition in Middletown, at Brookdale Community College.
