When Will Heat And Rain Break In Wayne? See Latest Weather Forecast
Forecasters are predicting hot and humid weather, coupled with summer storms, through early next week.
WAYNE, NJ — Expect this hot spell to last until at least early next week in Wayne Township, forecasters said, with summer storms also in the cards as we enter the month of August.
Thunderstorms could bring damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours across the state this weekend, according to the National Weather Service — and won't provide too much of a break from the heat and humidity.
Forecasters said that the greatest risk for heavy rain would be Saturday afternoon and evening, though storms are likely to linger through at least Sunday.

"The warmest day in the long term will be Monday with highs in the upper 80s to lower 80s," said the National Weather Service office out of New York. "By mid week, temperatures will remain in the upper 70s and 80s."
