Where To See Santa In Wayne This Christmas Season

WAYNE, NJ — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Wayne families. And as Christmas approaches, there are several opportunities for local kids to share their holiday wishes with Kris Kringle.

These include the annual township Christmas tree lighting, Santa's court at Willowbrook Mall, and several places offering a breakfast with Santa.

Here are the details for when you can see jolly old Saint Nicholas in Wayne this year:

Wayne Township Christmas tree lighting

• When: Thursday, Dec. 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Where: 475 Valley Road, Wayne
• Tickets: None needed.
• More info: Santa will also be taking children's letters at this event, which features music by Bach to Rock and the Patriot 5 woodwind quintet.

Breakfast with Santa at St. Michael's Episcopal Church

• When: Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at 10 a.m.
• Where: 1219 Ratzer Road, Wayne
• Tickets: $14 for adults, $7 for children 18 months and older.

Breakfast with Santa at the Wayne PAL

• When: Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Where: 1 PAL Drive, Wayne
• Tickets: Event is typically free.
• More info: This annual event is held in the Sal Borrelli Hall.

Breakfast with Santa at Applebee's

• When: Saturday, Dec. 7. from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Where: Applebee's in Clifton and Totowa
• Tickets: $10 per person; includes photos with Santa, breakfast, raffles and other goodies. Must be purchased at the restaurant beforehand.
• More info: The event is a fundraiser where 100 percent of sales will be donated to Toys for Tots, which provide gifts to children in need, especially those who are economically disadvantaged.

Breakfast with Santa at Dave and Buster's

• When: Sunday, Dec. 8 beginning at 9 a.m.
• Where: 310 Willowbrook Mall, Wayne
• Tickets: $27.42 to $32.13
• More info: Enjoy a breakfast buffet and visit with Santa; a game card can be added on for unlimited play.

Santa is also holding court at Willowbrook Mall, where families can stop by for a photo and even get their pet's picture taken.

Reservations are encouraged.

The mall will be closed on Thanksgiving, and open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Black Friday.

Starting Friday, Dec. 6, hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and the mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
