Christmas Tree Lighting Scheduled In Deptford Township

Enjoy snacks, a choir performance from Deptford Township students, and visits from Santa and other holiday characters on December 2.

DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Mark your calendars to deck the halls in Deptford, as the township has announced the date for the 2022 Christmas Tree Lighting.

Santa Claus will be there, and families can go on a hay ride, enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn, and interact with other holiday characters. Deptford Township School District students will perform some songs of the season.

The Christmas tree lighting is Friday, Dec. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Deptford Recreation Center (52 Montague Lane, Deptford NJ 08096), presented by the mayor and township council.
