Free Rabies Shot Clinic For Cats And Dogs Scheduled In Deptford

If your pet needs a rabies vaccine, mark your calendars for a drive-thru rabies clinic at Deptford Community Center.

DEPTFORD, NJ — If your dog or cat needs a rabies vaccination for their 2023 licensing, Deptford Township is holding a free drive-thru clinic in April.

The township announced the next rabies shot clinic will be Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Deptford Community Center (1219 Delsea Drive, Westville NJ 08093). License tags for dogs will be available for the year 2023; all licenses expire Jan. 31 of each year.

County officials urge pet owners to keep their pets' vaccination status up to date. They also advise adults and children to avoid any wild animals, and to not approach stray dogs or cats. Rabies is spread through the saliva of infected animals, and can be deadly if left untreated.
