WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Jack is a 3.5+ grade average Senior college student at Rutgers - Camden…He tied the Rutgers -Camden Home Run Record last year with 13 Home-runs…He is a fine young man who studies hard and was a TD Bank intern during the summer and was employed last Xmas season by UPS ( his second year )to delivery packages to homes. Jack is studying business and hopes to pursue his Masters Degree upon graduation and continue to play baseball using the addition year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to Covid.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

Great young man….very confident in his abilities and is leader among his teammates …
