Vineland – The Rowan College of South Jersey–Cumberland campus bands are ready to help you break out of the winter doldrums with their concert titled, “An Evening of Musical Potpurri.” This event, which is free to the public, takes place at the Guaracini Performing Arts Center, on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m.

This wintry, musical mix will consist of performances by a variety of large and small ensembles, comprised of the College’s jazz band and wind symphony instrumentalists and vocalists.

These talented musicians will be presenting a melodic and wide range of repertoire for your listening pleasure. The wind symphony will perform songs including the “Mad Major March” and “Malaguena,” while the jazz band will play “Flight of the Foo Bird,” as well as a couple of favorites sung by Frank Sinatra, “Summer Wind” and “Witchcraft.” There are several more surprising musical performances in store for this special evening.
