Route 44 Closed Due To Flooding In West Deptford

All lanes are closed in both directions on a flooded stretch of the roadway, officials said.

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — In the aftermath of an aggressive storm, part of Route 44 in West Deptford remains closed Thursday morning due to flooding, officials said.

The roadway is closed in both directions from the area north of Route 656 (Paradise Road) to the area south of Route 643 (Grove Avenue), according to the NJ Department of Transportation. The portion of the roadway crosses the Main Ditch.

Drivers should use caution, NJDOT said.
