New Creative, Unique Hot Dog Joint To Open In Westfield

1950 Originals, which features items such as the Truffle French Dip Burger and Candy Bacon Peanut Butter Dog, is opening a second location.

WESTFIELD, NJ — One of New Jersey's creative and unique hot dog joints is expanding to open a second location in Westfield later this month.

1950 Originals will open in September at 13 Elm St. in Westfield - replacing the Old Havana restaurant.

This eatery serves up hot dogs, burgers and fries but is well known for their unique and special menu. Creative menu items include the Truffle French Dip Burger, Candy Bacon Peanut Butter Dog, Hot Honey Pimento Cheese Dog, Street Cart Dog, Loaded Pimento Cheese Fries and Loaded Crab Rangoon Fries.

This will be 1950 Originals' second location. It opened its first location in Westwood on Oct. 15, 2023.

A grand opening date for its Westfield location has not been announced yet.
