Inaugural Golf Event:  Westfield’s “The Birthday Box” organization is hosting its inaugural golf event at Maplewood Country Club on Oct. 8 in partnership with The Jewish Renaissance Foundation. Read more, here.

Achievers kick-off: A college readiness program for minorities will be held at the Westfield YMCA at 7 a.m. on Oct. 9.

Pink Out: The WHS Girls Volleyball team hosts its annual breast cancer awareness event with volleyball games, raffles, tricky tray and more.
