Barstool's Dave Portnoy Reviews Pizza At Massa In Scotch Plains
"I loved it, really good stuff," said best-tasting slice internet celebrity Dave "El Pres" Portnoy of the pizza in Scotch Plains.
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Massa Roman Square Pizza in Scotch Plains received a good review by self-proclaimed pizza expert and popular internet personality Dave "El Pres" Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports.
"Light, crispy, tastes good," said Portnoy after he took a bit of the Roman pizza at 405 Park Ave. in Scotch Plains.
Portnoy posts daily pizza reviews to his millions of social media followers, scoring pies on a stringent 1 to 10 scale. The videos, which often go viral, usually start with Portnoy's catch phrase, "One bite, everyone knows the rules."

He gave the pizza a score of 8.1 out of 10.
"It's really good, fresh, the pizza is gigantic. This is a gigantic pizza but it lives up to the hype," said Portnoy. "I loved it, really good stuff."
