A car was reported stolen last Saturday from a business on the 400 block of East South Ave., according to Westfield police.
At around 4 p.m, police received a report of a stolen vehicle and checked the area but with negative results, the report said.
The vehicle was discovered later that day in Newark in the possession of Vladamir Cordones, 30, of Roselle, Capt. Scott Rodger of Westfield PD said. Cordones was charged by Newark Police with receiving stolen property, according to mugshotcatalog.com.
