'Expect Delays' On East Broad St. In Westfield Due To Roadwork

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Police alerted the community on Friday to expect delays on East Broad Street due to ongoing construction work.

No roads are closed, but police said to expect delays in a Nixle alert Friday morning.

This construction is part of a County project to pave and stripe East Broad Street from Springfield Avenue to Euclid Avenue in Westfield.

The work began on Nov. 17 and was projected to take eight days to complete weather permitting. Construction takes place between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Drivers are advised to plan for extra travel time or find alternate routes.
