Five Bikes Recently Stolen in Westfield: Report

At least five bicycles have been reported stolen to the Westfield Police Department since last week.

In each of the incidents reported, except one, the item stolen was a Trek bike, according to TAP into Westfield.

The Westfield Leader reports the bikes were stolen in the following areas of Westfield:

Sept. 8

• 800 block of Rahway Avenue - item stolen: orange Trek model 3500 bicycle

Sept. 10

• 100 block of Marion Avenue - items stolen: 21-speed Trek mountain bicycle and an unknown make and model bicycle

Sept. 14

• 800 block of Rahway Avenue - item stolen: orange Trek bicycle

Sept. 15

• The bike rack at Westfield High School - item stolen: Trek mountain bike
