Free Lessons, Parade Highlight 4th Annual Tour De Westfield
Registration is required for both events.

WESTFIELD, NJ - Westfield is rolling out its annual take on BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) this month at the South Side Train Station.
The fourth annual "Tour de Westfield" family bike parade and riding lessons are taking place on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The day is filled with free events and music that promote physical activity and time together with family.
Registration is required for both events. Sponsored by the Recreation Department & Recreation Commission, the "Tour" is also supported with help from the Westfield Police Department.

Bike Riding Lessons
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. & 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Free bike lessons are available courtesy of EZRide for children ages 5 to 10. First approach, balance, pedaling and more will all be covered. Limited spots are available for each class, and registration is required. This is separate from registration for the Tour de Westfield Parade.

Everyone must bring their own appropriately sized bike and helmet that is worn at all times.
Parade
10 a.m.
Families are encouraged to join together for a three-mile ride alongside the Westfield Police Department. Riders must bring their own bikes and helmets.
Registration is required prior to the parade leaving the south side of the train station lot at 10 a.m. Riders should arrive at the check-in tent 30 minutes before to confirm their spot.
The first 300 registered riders who check in at the event will receive a free hat.
