What you need to know the week of Sept. 16 in Westfield.
Le Bain Boutique: This new all-natural, organic bath body and home shop has just opened up in Westfield. We’ll take a look inside and speak to one of the co-owners. Le Bain sells products such as organic soaps, face care, lotions, home products, baby and maternity body products and much more.
Board of Education: The Board will meet on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda are the Board of Education’s goals. Check out the full agenda, here.
Family Movie Night: As part of the Westfield Y’s 90th Anniversary celebration the YMCA and Spencer Savings Bank are hosting a free movie night. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax will screen at 6:30 p.m. in Elm Street Field.
Sports: Girls Tennis takes on Chatham (away) on Monday at 4 p.m. Scotch Plains home on Tuesday at 4 p.m. and Oak Knoll home on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Girls Gymnastics face Scotch Plains (away) on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
Field Hockey teams plays against Gov. Livingston at home at 4 p.m. and away on Thursday at Montclair Kimberly at 4 p.m.
Girls Soccer will face Scotch Plains on Tuesday at home at 4 p.m. The team will also take on Summit (away) on Thursday at 4 p.m. and Gov. Livingston (away) on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Boys Soccer will match up against Scotch Plains (away) at 4p.m. on Tuesday and Linden on Thursday (HOME) at 4 p.m.
Girls Volleyball plays Old Bridge at home on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. and Cranford (away) on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The team will also face off against Scotch Plains (away) on Friday at 4 p.m.
Lastly, the Varsity Boys Football Team hosts Hillsborough (HOME) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Girls Volleyball Honored: The Westfield High School Girls’ Volleyball team has received the “Teens for the Cure Award.” Check back for more!
