Green Energy Fair To Be Held In Westfield

Residents have the chance to learn about electric vehicles, and even test drive them, at the Green Energy Fair this November.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Residents are invited to learn more about alternative energy options at the Westfield Green Energy Fair this November.

Held at the South Side Train Station parking lot, residents will have the opportunity to learn about ways to replace traditional vehicles with electric options, such as swapping car trips with bike and e-scooter rides and updating gas-powered landscaping equipment with greener solutions.

The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Live music, food from local restaurants and a Solar Car Derby for kids will also be available at the Green Energy Fair.

Residents also have a chance to test drive the latest electric vehicle models from a variety of dealers, including Chevy, Nissan Tesla and more.

Local electric vehicles will show off their vehicles and share their experience as EV owners in New Jersey and Union County. Residents will learn tips on setting up home charge points, as well as mapping trips and finding on-the-go chargers.
