“Young drivers are 17 times more likely to die in a car crash when they have been drinking,” the video says. “Don’t be a statistic.”
The students were a part of Westfield High School’s TV Production II class taught by Jay Ruggiero.
“The contest was a great experience, and I enjoyed being a part of it, and it feels great to be able to send such an important message to teens,” Fountain-Jardim said in the release.
