Trapped Kitten In Storm Drain Rescued By Westfield Firefighters

Westfield fire officials were called in to help free the baby cat.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A kitten in danger was rescued by the Westfield Fire Department on Thursday.

Crews responded at around 2 p.m. to the 700 block of Prospect St. for a report of a cat that was stuck. After about an hour, fire officials say they were able to safely free the unharmed kitten.
