Man Arrested For DWI, Gun Offenses In Westfield: Police

WESTFIELD, NJ - A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated with weapons in his vehicle along Standish Avenue.

On Aug. 15, Westfield officers responded to the 800 block for a report of someone who was asleep behind the wheel of a car at around 4:30 p.m. The vehicle was also in the middle of the road.

Andrew Dudonis, 34 of Rahway, was arrested and found with controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and a gun in the car. He is charged with driving while intoxicated, CDS possession and an improper concealed carry weapon offense.

Dudonis has since been released with various future summonses scheduled in the case.
